The Bush Family History
Newly-discovered U.S. government documents reveal that Prescott Bush, the grandfather of President George W. Bush,
financed the Nazi party through his bank, the Union Banking Corporation in New York.
In 1942, the bank was seized by the U.S. government for "Trading with the Enemy." After the seizure, Mr. Bush failed to divest himself of more than a dozen "enemy national" relationships, which continued until as late as 1951.
Furthermore, records show that Bush and his colleagues routinely attempted to conceal their activities from government investigators.
Documents from The National Archives and Library of Congress confirm that Bush and his partners continued their Nazi dealings unabated. These activities went undetected by investigators until well after World War Two.
